Charles River Media Group has worked on a wide variety of documentaries ranging in topic from the making of Tonya and Nancy: The Opera to perceived boundaries in society to "Transcendent Man " - a look at the life and work of Ray Kurzweil.

We can work with you to take your concept from the pre-production stage all the way to DVD distribution. Our work includes multiple documentary genres, from traditional interview and location footage to cinema verite and reality television programming.

In fact, CRMG founder Don Schechter  teaches an academic class on "The History of Documentary Films: From Nanook to The Real World" and the production and post-production workshops for "Producing Films for Social Change" and "Making Movies" at Tufts University.

With the purchase of High Definition (HD) Equipment, CRMG can produce documentaries for both HD television and film distribution. 

 

AWARDS

 "Transcendent Man" premieres at The Tribeca Film Festival. CRMG founder, Don Schechter, was the 2nd Unit Director. CRMG crew members Bruce Petschek and Trevor Chamberlain worked as 2nd Unit DP and Camera.

"A Good Whack - THe Making of 'Tonya and Nancy: The Opera'" premieres at the ReelHeART International Film Festival in Toronto.
