Temp Office & Production Assistant

Charles River Media Group is looking for a temporary office and production assistant in our Newton Center offices. This job requires balancing numerous activities on a 9AM-6PM basis in our office, ranging from assisting with managing our studio, answering the phone, and assisting with editing and other production support. This position pays hourly and will last 3-4 weeks, with the potential for part-time, full-time, or freelance work.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Assistant video editing
  • Answering phones and managing offices
  • Organizing studio and equipment rooms
  • Social media and blog posts
  • Extensive training in procedures for an ongoing video project


  • Background in media production and post production
  • Preferred – knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, especially Premiere and After Effects
  • Proficiency in Google Apps (Docs, Sheets, Calendar, Keep, etc.)

Video Editor & Studio Manager

You are:
• Super organized and all about both project management and  video/film/media making.
• Excited by working on lots of different projects from pre-production through post-production.
• Happy to work independently most of the time, but also can collaborate with others.

• Not afraid to ask for help, open to getting feedback, and willing to learn new skills.

Charles River Media Group is looking for a talented video editor and overall office/studio manager to join our team. This is a full-time salaried position in our Newton Center offices. We are looking for a highly organized self-starter who can work individually, manage multiple projects, and take initiative on new projects. 

Responsibilities Include:

  • Managing studio rentals and inquiries
  • Maintaining production, equipment, and internal databases
  • Assistant editing media projects
  • Providing on-set production assistance
  • Attending client production meetings
  • Performing various scheduling, planning, and booking needs


  • Background in media production
  • 1-3 years experience with Adobe Premiere and post-production processes preferred
  • After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator experience preferred, but not required
  • Experience with production equipment
  • Proficiency in Google Apps (Docs, Sheets, Calendar, Keep, etc.)
